Contract - 6 MonthsWe are currently recruiting for experienced Engine Build Technicians to join a prestigious automotive client based in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-performance engineering environment supporting engine warranty investigations and rebuild programmes.The successful candidates will be responsible for stripping, inspecting, diagnosing, and rebuilding engines relating to customer warranty claims, ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Strip and rebuild automotive engines to manufacturer specificationsDiagnose engine faults and identify causes of warranty failuresCarry out detailed inspections of engine componentsComplete rework and rebuild activities following engineering processesMaintain accurate documentation and reporting of findingsWork closely with engineering and quality teams to support investigations and continuous improvementRequirements:Previous engine build, engine strip, or engine assembly experienceStrong understanding of mechanical systems and engine componentsExperience working within automotive, motorsport, or advanced engineering environmentsAbility to read and follow engineering drawings and technical specificationsHigh attention to detail and quality standardsFlexible attitude and ability to work within a fast-paced workshop environmentDesirable:OEM, motorsport, or high-performance automotive experienceExperience supporting warranty or failure investigation activitiesRelevant mechanical or automotive qualificationsThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected automotive business working on exciting and technically challenging projects.Established in 1994, G&P Quality Management is a world-leading provider of quality management services to the manufacturing industry, primarily in the automotive, aerospace and off-highway sectors.
