What You'll Do
Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance on a wide range of medical equipment, following manufacturer guidelines.
Respond quickly to repair needs, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations.
Support your site manager and team in meeting key performance indicators.
Keep accurate records and complete all necessary admin for repairs and maintenance.
Travel to different sites as needed to provide both corrective and preventative maintenance.
Maintain safe working practices and ensure compliance with all relevant standards.
Manage spare parts stock and keep your tools and test equipment in top condition.
Liaise with OEM service staff and management when required.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
Certified OEM training
Degree or qualification in engineering, electronics, or medical technologies such as biomedical engineering
Skills:
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
Strong working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
High integrity and discretion
Experience:
At least 3 years' UK-based experience working with medical equipment
Familiarity with national and local regulatory standards
Experience in a clinical environment, ideally with patient interaction
Broad knowledge of medical devices
Languages:
Fluent English (essential)
