Are you an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a passion for supporting others? The Amesbury Community Team is looking for a dynamic Administrator to join our busy and friendly team. 30 or 37.5 hours per week available to the right candidate.
In this vital role, you’ll provide essential day-to-day support to our team of administrators, helping us deliver high-quality services to the community. Main Responsibilities
1. Maintain systems to collate information and reports regarding team and staff activity for management purposes and ensure that information and records are updated and maintained.
2. Data entry, word processing, storage of data in line with Community Team processes and Trust procedures.
3. Maintain filing systems for electronic files, paper files, personal files, team notice board, patient records, and archive filing.
4. Monitor and maintain adequate supply of stationery in line with team budget. Order stationery online; process goods received in line with Trust procedures.
5. Order non-stock items as directed by Team Leader / team members.
6. Order online clinical stocks on behalf of clinicians as directed by Team Leader.
7. Advise the Transport Department of collections and deliveries for clinical waste and file records.
8. Support administrative colleagues with checking of invoices as required.
9. Maintain records for Community Team vehicles, liaising with Transport Department and Team Leader, organize service and repairs.
10. Ensure all office equipment is in working order, report faults, and monitor repair progress.
11. Keep record of equipment on loan, report faults, and order consumables.
12. Collect, distribute, and prepare post for sending out to other departments/sites/agencies. Open all post as directed by Team Leader.

The Ideal Candidate
* RSA II or equivalent in typing/word processing
* Previous experience in a medical, health, or social care environment
* Knowledge of data protection and confidentiality
* Knowledge of databases and spreadsheets
* IM&T literate
* Regular use of databases, word processing packages, spreadsheets
* Interpersonal skills
* Flexible and efficient
* Courteous telephone manner
* Ability to remain calm in a pressured environment
* Ability to prioritise workload
* Good communication skills
* Calm and approachable
* Able to work within a multidisciplinary team and independently
* Willing to work in other areas as required
