Senior International Sales Administrator
Location: Hull
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00
Salary: £28,000 to £30,000, dependent on experience
Work Arrangement: On site

A successful and sustainability focused manufacturing business in Hull is looking to appoint a Senior International Sales Administrator. This role sits within a growing organisation whose products support long term environmental goals and are widely used across the forestry and landscaping sectors.
This position plays a key part in coordinating UK and international orders, managing export documentation and ensuring a high quality customer experience. It offers variety, ownership and the opportunity to work closely with internal teams, suppliers and customers across the world.

The Role
You will act as the central link between sales, production, logistics and customers, ensuring everything runs smoothly from order to delivery. Key responsibilities include:

Order Management
• Processing UK and international orders accurately
• Reviewing specifications, pricing and required documentation
• Preparing compliant export paperwork, including invoices, packing lists and certificates of origin
• Processing purchase orders from suppliers

Production Coordination
• Monitoring customer demand and internal lead times
• Communicating production updates to customers
• Escalating delays and supporting timely resolution

Shipments and Logistics
• Liaising with shipping carriers and freight forwarders
• Tracking shipments and resolving delays
• Preparing customs documents and ensuring compliance

Customer Communication
• Acting as a key point of contact for customer updates and queries
• Providing proactive communication regarding order status
• Handling feedback and resolving issues in a professional manner

Sales and Office Support
• Preparing quotes, proposals and sales documentation
• Supporting office operations, including greeting visitors and handling calls

About You
You will bring: • At least 2 years’ experience in sales administration, ideally with export exposure
• Knowledge of import/export processes and customs documentation (advantageous)
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
• A proactive, solutions focused approach
• Confident communication skills and a customer centric mindset
• Experience in manufacturing, logistics or distribution is beneficial
