Construction Service Manager
Location: Maldon, Essex
Hours: 42 hrs/week, Mon–Fri 8:00–17:30 (1 hr unpaid lunch), additional hours may be required during peak periods

Role
Seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead a busy Construction service department. Responsibilities include managing service staff, maintaining customer relations, ensuring departmental profitability, and facilitating communication between management, technicians, and clients.
Key Requirements
* Strong knowledge of construction engineering; experience with Merlo, Hyundai, Bomag, Thwaites or similar is advantageous
* Previous management/supervisor experience in a service environment
* Ability to mentor and oversee technicians
* Understanding of P&L, KPIs, and manufacturer warranty systems
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Organised, proactive, and able to multitask
* Able to handle staff matters confidently and confidentially
* Customer‑focused with the ability to manage expectations
* Able to work autonomously and use initiative
* Good general health, fitness, and professional appearance
