We are working closely with Thirsk based business who require a part-time Bookkeeper, on a permanent basis, as their current person is due to retire. Preferably, they would like someone in place before the beginning of March in order for a good handover. This will likely be 2 days/week and 3 days/week towards the end of the month.
Responsibilities:
1. Processing weekly payroll on Sage; including pension/PAYE/NI
2. Bank reconciliations
3. Credit Card reconciliations
4. Purchase Invoice management
5. Upload customer invoices to Sage 50
6. Credit control
7. Monthly profit & loss reports
8. CIS monthly reconciliation
9. Quarterly VAT reconciliation
10. Assist external Accountants with bi-yearly and year-end accounts preparation
11. Accounts inbox maintenance
Requirements/Experience:
12. Previous experience in a similar role
13. AAT L4 qualified or equivalent in experience
14. Clean license and own car
15. Any experience with compliance would be preferred but not essential
