If youre keen to be part of the team at this exciting stage in our journey, we would love to hear from you. £13.68 p/h Responsible to Bakehouse Production Manager This role requires the preparation of ingredients, supports production of various bakery items, decorating and finishing and packaging & labelling of bakery products and & helps prepare products ready to dispatch to our stores. Responsibilities and Duties: Weighing ingredients, preparing mixes, fillings, icing, toppings Lining trays and preparing tins Dough scaling and shaping Assisting bakers during production Icing cakes, decorating traybakes, chocolate finishing Filling pastries Cutting, portioning and packing bakery items Ensure correct labelling of products (ingredients, allergens, dates) Quality checking finished items Prepares products ready for dispatch, order picking for each location Organising dispatch and ensuring timely distribution Stock rotation and basic stock handling Essential Experience in a food production or kitchen environment Good attention to detail, especially with labelling and allergens Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active role Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to follow instructions and processes accurately Reliable, punctual, and fulfil required working hours Good teamwork and communication skills Desirable Previous bakery or food manufacturing experience Basic food hygiene knowledge (e.g. Level 2 Food Safety) Experience with packing, labelling, or dispatch processes Confidence with portioning and finishing baked goods Understanding of stock rotation (FIFO) Interest in baking or food production You must complete the online company application form to be considered for the role.
