Finance Assistant

Type: 6-month Contract - Ongoing
Salary: £24,000 - £25,500
Start Date: Immediate
Working Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days office-based
Availability: Must be immediately available
About the Role: We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join our clients team. In this role, you will provide essential support to the finance department, assisting with a variety of tasks including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain valuable experience and develop their skills in finance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process invoices and expenses accurately and efficiently
2. Assist with bank reconciliations and other month-end tasks
3. Prepare financial reports and analysis as required
4. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
5. Provide support to the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as needed
About You:
6. Previous experience in a finance assistant or similar role
7. Strong numerical and analytical skills
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
9. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
10. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
