Are you passionate about helping children with diverse needs and supporting them to achieve their full potential within a local Primary Mainstream School? At Academics, we're dedicated to making a positive impact on students' lives. We're seeking a dynamic SEN Primary Teaching Assistant to join a friendly team of Primary Staff in South Staffordshire.
You will provide one-to-one support to a primary-aged pupil with behavioural needs in our local Primary Mainstream Schools. The role requires focus and dedication; you will work intensively to support the child, take initiative, be resilient, and help the pupil to achieve and progress. Your responsibilities include working on learning activities, promoting confidence, and encouraging independence to help the pupil succeed.
As a SEN Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be:
1. An experienced teaching assistant or learning support assistant familiar with young people with challenging behaviours, ADHD, or other disabilities and needs.
2. Experienced working with SEN children.
3. Comfortable working on a one-to-one basis.
4. Able to hold student attention and focus with excellent communication skills.
5. Capable of promoting happiness, self-reliance, and encouraging positive interactions.
