The owner of a 4* hotel is seeking a Head Chef to implement new dishes and menus to take the dining operation forward. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Head Chef or motivated Senior Sous Chef to make their mark and bring a modern classic feel into the dining experience. The hotel has 83 rooms, a busy restaurant and bar. Caters for weddings and private functions and serves afternoon teas. As this is a Head Chef role you will be responsible for all areas of kitchen management including paperwork, implementation of hygiene legislation, financial performance, rotas, ordering, stock management and mentoring a brigade of 8 chefs and KP’s.
Requirements:
A strong, organised Head Chef/Senior Sous with experience is required to lead the team. Must be hands on with have a good attitude and supportive of fellow colleagues. An excellent all round knowledge of the kitchen is needed for this role you must also have a stable CV and good references.
