About the Role
We are seeking an Electrical/Electronic Assembler to support the build, wiring and testing of assemblies to ISO9001 standards. This role involves working from diagrams, drawings, or instructions to assemble and fit a wide range of electrical and electronic components, with opportunities to develop skills across complex systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Assemble electronic and electrical subassemblies from drawings and schematics.
* Wire and solder harnesses, cable assemblies, PCBs, connectors, transformers, and control systems.
* Carry out heavy-duty cable wiring, deck cable assembly, and control system outfitting.
* Perform troubleshooting, testing, and repairs down to PCB component level.
* Operate computer-controlled equipment as required.
* Complete documentation accurately, including timesheets and engineering changes.
* Ensure work meets quality, safety and efficiency standards, maintaining good housekeeping.
* Support wider workshop activities as needed.
Skills & Experience
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
* Strong knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, including low-voltage AC/DC wiring, high-voltage installations, control/data systems and fibre optic termination.
* Good communication and organisational skills, with a focus on quality and safety.
* Relevant shopfloor or production process experience desirable.
* ONC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and/or IEEE 18th Edition accreditation preferred.
