Dispensing Optician Pulse Team (Full-Time, Mobile Role)
Base Location: Basingstoke (with travel up to 90 minutes from base)
The Opportunity
1. A unique and rewarding opportunity is available for a qualified Dispensing Optician looking for variety, professional development, and the chance to shape the future of practice teams across a growing optical and audiology group.
2. This role forms part of a dedicated Pulse Team, designed to provide expert branch support while contributing to learning, development, and clinical consistency across multiple locations.
3. It's ideal for someone ready to step beyond the traditional practice setting and take on wider responsibilities, with a strong focus on training, mentorship, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
4. Provide clinical cover across multiple branches within the group
5. Act as a link between practices to help maintain high clinical standards
6. Induct and onboard new starters into the business
7. Facilitate experience days as part of the interview process for new recruits
8. Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to create engaging online training content
9. Deliver ongoing coaching and support to the Dispensing Optician team across the network
Candidate Profile
10. Qualified and GOC-registered Dispensing Optician
11. Passionate about mentoring and supporting others
12. Confident communicator with the ability to inspire and lead by example
13. Comfortable working independently across multiple locations
14. Must hold a full UK driving licence and be happy to travel (up to 90 minutes from Basingstoke)
