Responsibilities
Manage and oversee daily roasting operations, ensuring consistency in coffee quality and production efficiency.
Develop and implement roasting schedules, ensuring optimal stock levels of raw and roasted coffee.
Supervise automated and manual packaging lines, allocating labour efficiently to meet demand.
Lead, train, and develop production staff, fostering a culture of high performance, safety, and accountability.
Ensure compliance with all relevant industry certifications and food safety standards (HACCP, Fairtrade, Organic).
Take ownership of stock control, conducting regular inventory checks and minimizing waste.
Oversee equipment maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues to prevent downtime.
Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and product quality.
