We’re after a proper Chiller Engineer — someone who can lead on breakdowns, confidently fault-find, and knows their way around a screw or Turbocor compressor. You’ll be working with a specialist team that handles mission-critical cooling for data centres, banks, and healthcare sites.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing
You’ll be servicing and fault-finding across air- and water-cooled chillers (200kW–1.2MW), including Carrier, Trane, York, Mitsubishi, and Turbocor systems.
There’s also scope to support commissioning and mentor junior engineers when needed — so if you’re the kind of person who enjoys being the one others turn to, this fits.
What You’ll Need to Have
F-Gas
C&G or NVQ in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
Hands-on experience with diagnostics and repairs on OEM chillers
Proven work with screw, scroll, and Turbocor compressors
Confidence supervising heavy lifts (LOLER/IPAF a bonus)
Strong RAMS/admin discipline and full UK driving licence
Safety-driven, with a professional approach on site
What’s In It For You
£55,000 – £58,000 basic salary
Call-out rota: 1 in 16 + paid OT
High-spec van for personal use + fuel card
25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
Private medical cover from day one
All tools, phone, tablet, uniform supplied
Annual OEM & Turbocor training
Opportunity to progress into commissioning or projects
A tight, technically competent team that recognises expertise
