Associate / Senior Associate - Private Wealth - 6+ years PQE
Location: South West (Hybrid & Flexible)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 depending on experience
Chadwick Nott is working with a leading national law firm on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join their growing Private Wealth team. This is a fantastic chance to work with a well-established department advising high-net-worth individuals, families, and trustees across the UK and internationally.
The Role
You'll be joining a collaborative and well-supported team delivering high-quality private client services. Key responsibilities include:
* Advising on estate and asset protection planning
* Drafting tax-efficient wills and trusts
* Creating and advising on onshore trusts
* Managing probate and estate administration
* Advising on Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters
* Supporting residence and domicile planning for international clients
* Supervising and mentoring junior legal staff
* Participating in marketing and business development initiatives
* Ensuring compliance with Lexcel procedures and firm-wide training
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a solicitor with:
* At least 6 years PQE in private client work
* STEP membership or working towards qualification (strongly preferred)
* Excellent technical skills and a proactive, client-focused approach
* Strong communication and file management abilities
* Commercial awareness and financial discipline as a fee earner
* A collaborative mindset and interest in mentoring
* Solid academic background and commitment to service excellence
