Community Housing Assistant - Voids and lettings team
Portsmouth or Reading - hybrid working 2 days in either office and from home

Responsibilities
* You’ll support our Housing Managers to look after voids and lettings within their patches.
* You’ll assist with voids processes, including liaising with local authorities, working with prospective new customers, engaging and meeting with maintenance colleagues and Housing Managers.
* Manage Mutual Exchanges from start to finish, in conjunction with the Housing Managers.
* Manage administrative tasks, updating records, ensuring compliance with our sign up process and taking payments.

You bring
* A “can do” positive attitude, you’re proactive and well organised, able to work on your initiative.
* Administration experience is a must, as well as excellent attention to detail.
* A real passion for delivering excellent customer service and a genuine desire to help your customers.
* Confidence working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business and external partners.
* An understanding of housing management, housing law and universal credit would be ideal, but they’re not deal breakers!
* Strong knowledge of Office related IT packages and the ability to use technology to navigate our systems and update customer records.
* DBS check will be paid for; a Standard DBS check is required.

Job details
This is a hybrid role and in an average week you’ll spend 2 days per week working from your local office, in either Portsmouth or Reading.
We work Monday to Friday and work occasional evenings to meet with customers.
To get from A to B, you’ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. We’ll pay your mileage.
You’ll need a Standard DBS check done and we pay for that.
