Electrical Design Engineer Kingston upon Thames Permanent PositionShorterm Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to play a hands-on role in delivering electrical infrastructure design projects across the full project lifecycle for a well-established civil engineering company based in Kingston upon Thames.Key Requirements- Degree in Electrical Engineering.- 5-10 years of experience in electrical infrastructure design.- Proven experience delivering large-scale, heavy-duty infrastructure projects within the ports industry, ideally involving ports, harbours, or container terminals.- Strong understanding of electrical power systems, including LV/HV distribution, utility networks, and resilience strategies.- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Amtech/Trimble, ETAP, Dialux, AutoCAD, and Revit.- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.The Role- Permanent position.- Standard day shift hours.- Based in Kingston upon Thames.- Office-based during the probation period.- Following probation, a hybrid working arrangement is available with a minimum of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.- Immediate interviews and start dates available.If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply with your latest CV, and I will be in touch to discuss the role further.
