Job Description
As our next Kitchen Porter, you will:
* Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
* Assist in the proper storage and rotation of food items to ensure freshness and minimise waste.
* Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of storage areas, including refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage.
* Assist with the disposal of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Maintain a clean and tidy workstation, including regular cleaning of floors, walls, and work surfaces.
* Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper handling and storage of ingredients.
* Observe excellent food hygiene practice through the entire food chain from storage through to preparation and service.
* Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the Head Chef
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
* Ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a team
