We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Apprentice Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will provide crucial support for the business to run smoothly and ensure a positive client experience. Working with a range of team members the job will gain insight into the different functions within a business and support a varied list of administrative tasks.\n\nDuties include - \nCheck and log attendance, notifying the client of any non attendance\nProcess all certification and accredited cards on completion of courses / attainment of qualifications\nScan and upload training delivery paperwork to SharePoint\nPrepare training packs for courses being delivered\nSet up and clear training rooms on each day of delivery\nOrganise lunches and catering\nDeal with incoming post\nEffectively manage the admin e-mail inbox\nField incoming calls, re-directing to the relevant team member or taking down messages\nAccurately update training systems as required throughout the role\nComplete weekly stock check of materials, stationary etc and place orders as instructed by the office manager\n\nFuture prospects\nThe administration role may be a gateway to further career opportunities, and transition to a permanent role within the business shall be dependent on vacancies available at completion.\n\nSalary\nThe rate paid shall meet statutory requirements appropriate to the age of the successful candidate. The candidate shall undertake the SVQ level 5 in Business and Administration and during this time you will be supported to develop a wide range of business administration and personal development skills required to meet the modern apprenticeship standard. \n\nYou will be allocated a mentor within the team who will support you throughout the course of your programme. A schedule of reviews will be agreed over the programme of your apprenticeship to allow you to meet the relative milestones and any assessments timely.\n\nThis position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.\nKey learning areas include -\nUse of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Outlook, Excel and SharePoint\nStrong organisational skills, ensuring key tasks are delivered daily and includes learning how to prioritise tasks effectively\nQuickly developing good attention to detail for accurate data entry and record keeping\nDevelopment of strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships within the team\n\nSpecific training courses covering cyber security, GDPR and display screen equipment shall be supported, these being mandatory qualifications for all office roles within Raeburn Training.\n\nApplication\nCandidates should submit their CV along with details of why they want to work for Raeburn Training and what makes you a good candidate for the role.\n Qualifications\nNational 4 / 5 or equivalent level in subjects including English, Administration / Business Management.\nPrevious experience of Microsoft software is also beneficial.\n\nQualities\nEagerness to commit to undertake this qualification and work experience opportunity for the duration of the qualification.\nStrong communication skills and confidence to use phone and email\nGood listening skills, to follow instructions given\nGood planning and organising skills\nA can-do attitude\nGood attention to detail, to ensure accuracy of work\n\nEligibility\nEligible to undertake a Modern Apprenticeship in Business Administration\n\nIf you are a motivated individual looking to contribute to a dynamic team environment while honing your administrative skills and gaining a qualification, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.\n\nThe vetting process includes a practical skills assessment and interview, including competency based questions.
