We are recruiting for a 12-month maternity cover position for a Senior HR Advisor, focusing heavily on employee relations. We seek a candidate passionate about HR, with experience at a senior level in employee relations.
You will collaborate with the Employee Relations Manager to support leadership and influence managers on employee relations matters.
Role Responsibilities and Requirements:
* Provide credible, expert, and commercially astute ER advice to stakeholders at all levels on issues such as disciplinaries, grievances, performance, absence, TUPE, redundancy, and reasonable adjustments.
* Ensure advice is tailored to the employment status of individuals, considering relevant employment and organizational risks.
* Accurately track cases on the case management system, reviewing data to inform actionable changes.
* Coach managers on ER matters to build management and leadership capabilities.
* Maintain a good understanding of UK employment law, sharing recent case law updates with the team.
* Deliver engaging ER training sessions.
* Collaborate with ER Team, HRBPs, and the wider HR team to meet key priorities set by the Head of ER or HR Leadership Team.
* Use case insights to inform feedback, policy reviews, and develop management toolkits.
* Conduct or advise on complex investigations, reporting findings professionally and considering risks.
* Draft professional outcome letters for complex ER cases, including whistleblowing, harassment, and discrimination cases.
* Manage ER cases effectively, aligned with ER Team success metrics.
* Assist the Head of ER with projects as needed.
