Providing expert guidance, coaching, and assurance to ensure legal compliance and continuous improvement. Driving innovation in SHW, from incident investigations to proactive campaigns and industry engagement. Collaborating with colleagues and partners to embed SHW priorities into every aspect of our work. Representing Octavius at industry forums and with key stakeholders. You'll bring… Significant experience in SHW management within civil engineering, rail, or highways infrastructure, including leading teams across multiple sites. A proven track record of delivering compliance, managing investigations, and driving improvement in SHW performance. Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, industry best practice, and the challenges of major infrastructure projects. Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels. Commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and change. Qualifications NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 6 (or equivalent), plus Environmental Management experience and Investigation Training. Relevant CSCS Card, and a full UK driving licence.
