Job Overview

Fixed Term until 31.3.26, 36 hours per week.

It is an exciting time for an experienced HR Adviser to join our team, as we are currently undergoing significant and dynamic transformational changes. These developments present unique opportunities for growth, innovation, and the advancement of our People & Culture Directorate. As we navigate this period of transformation, new team members will play a vital role in shaping the future of our organisation and contributing to a forward‑thinking environment that supports progress and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities

* Provide advice and guidance to managers and staff on organisational policies, terms and conditions of service, employee relations and employment legislation.
* Support managers in conducting investigations, ensuring advice and support adhere to Once for Scotland policies, NHS Fife policies, relevant employment legislation and recognised best practice standards.
* Support the new HR Service Desk and enquiry portal, enabling managers and staff to access timely and accurate HR information, guidance and assistance.


Qualifications & Experience

* Proven track record of operating effectively at a comparable level within the HR field.
* Strong communication skills and sound interpersonal skills for building positive working relationships and navigating diverse workplace dynamics.
* Experience working in a multi‑unionised public sector organisation, ideally NHS, and of partnership working.
* Degree level education or an equivalent level of experience within an operational HR position.
* Preferably hold, or be actively working towards, Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) membership.
