Role Overview
The Senior Chef de Partie is a key part of the kitchen leadership team, responsible for overseeing a section and supporting junior chefs while maintaining high culinary standards. You'll ensure that food preparation and service run smoothly and efficiently, with a strong focus on consistency, quality, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and manage your section and assist across others as needed.
* Ensure dishes are prepared to the highest standard and presented consistently.
* Train, mentor, and motivate junior chefs and CDPs in best practices.
* Maintain accurate stock control, ordering, and waste management.
* Assist with menu development and testing under the direction of the Head/Sous Chef.
* Take ownership of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety.
* Help lead service during busy periods, ensuring pace and accuracy.
* Step up to cover Sous Chef duties when required.
* Contribute ideas to improve workflow, efficiency, and quality within the kitchen.
Requirements
* Solid background as a Chef de Partie or previous experience as a Senior CDP.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Excellent technical cooking knowledge and plating skills.
* High level of organization and attention to detail.
* Valid Food Safety and Hygiene Certification (Level 2 or above).
* A passion for fresh, seasonal, and creative food.

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
