Job Purpose
As a Product Designer at Betfred, you will play a critical role in crafting intuitive and engaging user experiences for our betting & gaming products. Collaborating closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders, you will design user interfaces and interactions that meet customer needs and align with Betfred’s business goals. This role requires a strong foundation in UX/UI design principles and a commitment to delivering high-quality, customer-centric solutions.
Job Duties
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements, business objectives, and technical constraints.
2. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to visualize and refine product concepts.
3. Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve product experiences.
4. Design user interfaces that balance aesthetic appeal with functionality, adhering to brand guidelines.
5. Partner with developers to ensure designs are accurately implemented and maintain high-quality standards.
6. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and design innovations to contribute fresh ideas to projects.
7. Iterate on designs based on user feedback, analytics, and stakeholder input.
8. Maintain and contribute to design systems to ensure consistency across products.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
● Proven experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio showcasing design skills and problem-solving capabilities.
● Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
● Solid understanding of user-centred design principles and usability best practices.
● Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
● Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret user feedback and data to inform design decisions.
● Familiarity with responsive and mobile-first design principles.
● Interest in the gambling industry or relevant experience is a plus but not mandatory.
