About the Role
Connex Education is working in partnership with a number of welcoming Primary Schools in the Sinfin (DE24) area, who are recruiting KS1 Teachers to work on a day-to-day supply basis. This role includes full classroom responsibilities during cover days, including delivering engaging lessons, maintaining a positive and structured learning environment, and supporting pupils’ academic and social progress. No lesson planning is required.

Assignment Details
Roles are available on a part-time or full-time basis and run throughout the academic year. Opportunities include both day-to-day supply and longer-term assignments, allowing flexibility to suit individual availability and preferences.

Person Specification
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with children aged 4–7 in a UK primary school setting
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Ability to deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons
* Knowledge of the KS1 national curriculum and phonics schemes such as Read Write Inc or Letters and Sounds
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
