We are seeking a Locum Consultant Anaesthetist for the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
Applicants must have full GMC Registration, a licence to practise, and be eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register. UK trained doctors should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from the date of interview. Portfolio Pathway (formerly CESR) route doctors are only eligible to apply for a substantive consultant post once awarded. Non‑UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.
Responsibilities
* Upper GI/HPB/Transplant anaesthesia duties.
* Contribution to the wider anaesthetic department.
* Additional sub‑specialty interests in Regional Anaesthesia and Anaesthesia for Trauma and Orthopaedics welcomed.
* At least 1 SPA included in final job plan.
Qualifications
* Full GMC Registration.
* L‑licence to practise.
* Eligible for the GMC Specialist Register.
* Evidence of higher specialist training (CCT) or Portfolio Pathway.
* Non‑UK training equivalent.
