Kenneth Brian Associates are recruiting for an amazing company in their search for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The role is due to growth within the company they are looking for someone who has a good knowledge of transactional accounts but someone who is looking to learn from Financial Controller and would like to progress with the role in to becoming a Finance Manager.
Main Duties:
* Process AP invoices
* Process employee expenses
* VAT return preparation
* Monthly GL journals
* Bank reconciliations
* Credit control
* Payment run preparation
* Other ad-hoc finance duties
* Support with AR invoices for holiday cover
* Support with PO raising process for holiday cover
Once comfortable with the above, the role will progress to include the following duties.
* Intercompany transactions/reconciliation
* Control of group cashflows for shareholder reporting
* Other management reporting on an ad-hoc basis
* Review and assistance with YE close process and annual accounts
* ONS surveys
* Insurance and other contract management
* Management of payroll
