A small, welcoming primary school in the GL12 area is looking for a full-time 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs including ASD, ADHD, and behavioural needs. This role is to start as soon as possible and run until May half term, with the possibility of extending for the right person.

The role
You’ll be working 1:1 with a pupil who needs calm, consistent support to access the classroom and feel confident in their learning.
Your day might include:
* Providing individual support in lessons and during transitions
* Helping the pupil stay engaged with learning activities
* Supporting with emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
* Building a trusting, supportive relationship that helps the pupil feel safe and successful

Because of the school’s rural location in GL12, a car driver is essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
