National Account Executive - Retail (Foodservice)

The role
This newly created National Account Executive role is integral to the success of the sales strategy for the Foodservice and wider Retail channel.
Reporting into the National Business Manager- Retail, you will be primarily responsible for the delivery of our Foodservice sales strategy and key customer plans to drive growth and profitability for NZ Sugar across the full portfolio - Chelsea, Private Label and Brand Partners.
Some core activities will include forecasting, managing promotional activity, pricing, analysis of market data and insights, ownership of the channel performance scorecard, account specific admin, as well as responsibility for direct sales to a defined portfolio of customers.
About you
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Key Account Executive, or early career Account Manager who's ready to take ownership of key customer relationships.
You have a genuine passion for sales, ideally with experience in FMCG account management, but you might be a high-performing Field Sales leader ready to take a step up.
You will have high proactivity and initiative; this is a dynamic and fast-moving role so we're looking for a go getter to make it their own!
You're a natural relationship-builder - trusted by teammates and customers alike - and your communication skills are top-notch.
