Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. We are searching for the best talent for the Maintenance Technician position to be in UK.
Purpose: The purpose of this role is to support the production department to ensure that the facility, manufacturing plant and equipment at Blackpool CMW are maintained to a reliable, safe and high standard.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
* Providing a support function for the manufacturing plant and equipment to ensure it is appropriately and adequately maintained.
* Ensuring maintenance of production equipment is carried out to agreed schedules.
* Monitoring and control of equipment spare parts.
* Supporting site calibration support activities as required.
* Ensuring that maintenance key metrics are supported.
* Recording equipment work history on the CMMS system and ensuring relevant documentation and procedures are duly maintained and updated.
* Supporting new equipment purchases, installation and validation activities.
Qualifications / Requirements:
* GCSE level Maths and English
* 5 GCSE/O levels including maths or relevant science, OR TEC certificate OR 3 - 4 years relevant engineering experience.
* Time Served Mechanical and / or Electrical Engineer
* Flexible towards overtime requests to meet busienss needs.
