General Summary
Please note this is a 6-12 month fixed term contract based in either Qualcomm's Cambridge or Farnborough locations in the UK. As part of Qualcomm’s EMEA Talent Acquisition (TA) team, you will contribute to initiatives that will enhance the overall candidate experience and serve as a talent advisor to the business and our team. This role will focus on the end‑to‑end recruiting cycle and sourcing to identify, engage, and hire qualified candidates. The Talent Acquisition team incorporates industry best practices in recruiting that align with corporate objectives, workflows, and processes while considering business, industry, legal, and compliance factors to enable TA solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of Talent Acquisition experience.
* Associate’s degree and 4+ years of Talent Acquisition experience.
* High School Diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of Talent Acquisition experience.
Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years of work experience (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years).
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Humanities, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field.
* 3+ years of Talent Acquisition experience in the technology industry.
* 1+ year of work experience in one or more of the following areas: ATS (Workday), sourcing, interviewing, compensation, and benefits.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
* Applies knowledge and principles of TA programs, policies, processes, labor laws (where applicable), interviewing, compensation, negotiation, and business to compliantly source, recruit, hire, onboard, transfer, and disposition candidates.
* Pulls appropriate reports for basic data‑based engagement discussions and proactively communicates requisition‑level hiring status and updates to hiring managers; reviews personal data metrics to evaluate own role within the team’s performance metrics.
* Collaborates with partners within the team and develops effective working relationships to complete TA project work.
* Applies a basic understanding of tools and systems (Sourcing Platforms, ATS, CRM) to identify and hire qualified candidates for multiple workstreams.

* Works under supervision.
* Decision‑making affects direct area of work and/or work group.
* Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information.
* Tasks require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning, problem‑solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.
