What You Will Be Doing
The finishing department is crucial in our production process, ensuring that our campaigns and event products arrive finished, trimmed, and ready for installation or use. You will be responsible for finishing and collating printed or supplied products according to job specifications. You will work as part of a team handling various materials, large and small format items, and 3D structures, using standard large-format finishing machinery.
You will collaborate closely with account and production teams to ensure all projects are delivered to meet or exceed client expectations. Your tasks will include:
* Working on daily set tasks
* Following instructions for campaign and event finishing requirements
* Reporting to production managers
* Working as part of a team to achieve objectives
* Following online work schedules
* Adhering to health & safety rules
* Communicating effectively with team and departments
* Working overtime shifts on weekends and weekdays as required
Skills and Experience Needed
We are looking for a friendly, organized, confident self-starter who is outgoing and helpful. The ideal candidate will have:
* Operational knowledge of Zund cutting tables (kiss cutting, routing, etc.)
* Experience with laminating using heated rollers and vinyl application tables
* Hand finishing skills such as wrap mounting and weeding
* PVC banner fabrication experience
* Fabrication and cardboard engineering skills
* Great attention to detail and accuracy
* Pride in work, remaining focused, calm, and motivated
* Ability to multitask and work well in a team
