Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing various administrative tasks. This position requires strong organisational skills, proficiency in data entry, and the ability to communicate effectively over the phone. The Office Administrator will be responsible for maintaining office systems, supporting staff, and contributing to a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

* Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Manage incoming calls and respond to inquiries with excellent phone etiquette.
* Utilise Google Suite for document creation, scheduling, and communication.
* Maintain clerical records and files, ensuring they are organised and easily accessible.
* Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks as needed.
* Support the team with administrative duties including typing correspondence and reports.
* Help to streamline office processes through effective organisation and computerisation of tasks.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the office runs efficiently and effectively.

Experience

* Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred but not essential.
* Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with Google Suite applications is required.
* Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills will be highly valued.
