Education/ Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. •Registered Nurse on Part one of the UK NMC register
2. •Evidence of post registration education activity to Master’s level or equivalent experience
3. •Teaching qualification or equivalent
4. •Evidence of training in leadership and management
Desirable criteria
5. Professional Nurse Advocate/RCS supervisor training or working towards
6. Improvement qualification
Knowledge & Experience
Essential criteria
7. Demonstrable clinical experience as a team or department leader / ward manager role with experience of managing staff
8. Experienced Practice Supervisor and Practice Assessor or equivalent
9. Experience of teaching in a variety of settings
10. Experience in change management
11. Experience of data collection and analysis
12. Evidence of applying current research to practice
13. Experience in conducting audits
14. •Knowledge of NMC Standards of Proficiency for Registered Nurses and Midwives (May 2018)
