Teaching Assistant Lift Pioneer Ghyllgrove Basildon, Essex, SS14 2LA United Kingdom £13.21 per hour Casual basis - as and when required December 2025 Start We are looking for Teaching Assistants to join our fantastic team at Pioneer School, a special school providing for children and young people between the ages of 3 to 19 with Severe and Complex Learning Difficulties. We're committed to providing an excellent education to every child in our modern and inspiring learning environment! About the Role: You will be covering staff absences. This is a flexible, casual position that allows you to share your availability each week. We will then arrange work on the days cover is needed. You will work in partnership with class teachers to support pupils' learning. You will attend to pupils' personal needs, including toileting, dressing, feeding and mobility. What We're Looking For: Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is a plus! This role would also be a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in an SEN classroom.
