As a Principal Waste Water Process Engineer, you will play a vital role in process engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.
We specialise in all aspects of process engineering within the water industry, including waste-water and bioresources treatment, both in the UK and internationally, with opportunities in other sectors such as nuclear. We deliver industry-leading engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, from feasibility to process commissioning, adding value through client-side support. Your Purpose
* Lead a team in technical design following standards and codes, ensuring high quality.
* Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
* Manage time and budgets to meet project milestones.
* Collaborate with UK and overseas teams for integrated design solutions.
* Maintain quality assurance standards in design.
What you can bring
* Chartered Chemical / Process Engineer (preferably IChemE or CIWEM).
* Experience leading multidisciplinary design delivery.
* Understanding of integrated waste-water and bioresources treatment processes.
* Experience with main process unit operations: primary, secondary, tertiary treatment, bioresource treatment, odour, and energy management.
* Knowledge of process safety techniques (HAZOP / DSEAR), cost assessments, carbon assessments, and UK environmental regulations.
* Familiarity with process modelling software like BioWin, SUMO.
