Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Care Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Winchester Rural North and East PCN. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities, providing essential support to the PCN manager, the Mental health team and when required the 6 GP practices that make up our NHS primary care network. This position requires strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. A good working knowledge of EMIS and/or previous experience working for the NHS or in a busy office environment is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and oversee daily operational activities to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
* Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to operations.
* Liaise with internal teams and external partners to facilitate communication and collaboration.
* Monitor project timelines and deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met.
* Prepare reports and presentations for management as required.
* Support the team with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.
* Identify areas for improvement within operational processes and recommend solutions.
Qualifications
* Proven office experience is essential; familiarity with operational processes is an advantage.
* Strong IT skills.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Working knowledge of MS Teams
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* A proactive approach to work with a willingness to learn and adapt.
* Knowledge of EMIS (desirable)
