This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with experienced teachers while supporting pupils during a formative stage in their education.
As a valued member of the KS1 team, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive, engaging learning environment where every child feels encouraged, supported, and confident.
Your key responsibilities:
• Supporting pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
• Assisting the class teacher with lessons, activities, and resource preparation
• Helping to maintain a calm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom
• Encouraging pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
• Providing tailored support to children with SEND where required
• Building strong relationships with staff, pupils, and parents
We’re looking for someone who:
• Is patient, proactive, and passionate about education
• Enjoys working with KS1-aged pupils (5–7 years)
• Has experience supporting learning or is eager to develop new skills
• Communicates clearly and works well as part of a team
• Brings positivity, creativity, and a willingness to get involved
