Share Share Share Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Our School is seeking to appoint an experienced and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant who will cover teacher absence and release time in KS2 (Y5/6) when needed, as well as provide support to pupils' learning. In addition, the HLTA will be responsible for line managing a team of LSAs (performance management training provided).
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30 am - 3.30 pm (term time only, plus inset days). 31 hours 15 minutes per week.
Candidate Requirements:
* A passion for supporting children's social and emotional wellbeing as well as learning.
* Experience as a learning support assistant/teaching assistant within Key Stage 2 (Y5/6).
* Experience covering classes.
* Secure subject knowledge in English and maths.
* The ability to work effectively in a team and inspire others.
