We are seeking a dynamic and committed Interventions Year 6 Teacher to join a friendly primary school on a long-term temporary contract until the end of December 2025, working between 0800 - 1300.
This is an excellent opportunity to guide pupils through their final year of primary education and prepare them for a successful transition to secondary school. Duties as Year 6 Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cover the full Key Stage 2 curriculum, with a focus on preparing pupils for SATs and secondary school.
* Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all abilities and ensure every child makes strong progress.
* Assess, track and report on pupil attainment and well-being.
* Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages confidence, independence and a love of learning.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support each child’s development.
Ideal Year 6 Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum
* Excellent classroom management and organisational skills as a Year 6 Teacher.
* Ability to inspire, motivate and engage pupils.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
