Location: Llay Industrial Estate
Pay: £12.50+ (Depending on Experience)
Hours: MondayThursday 8:00am4:45pm, early finish on Fridays
Contract: Temp-to-Perm or Permanent (based on experience)
Overtime: Available
Are you looking to grow your skills in a hands-on engineering environment? We're currently recruiting for a Junior Machinist to join a growing team based in Llay Industrial Estate. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn, offering progression and stability.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist CNC and copper machine operatives with daily production duties
* Cut, punch, and bend copper to precise specifications
* Handle and process steel work as required
* Read and interpret 2D and 3D technical drawings
* Operate copper machinery and input CAD designs
* Run and maintain CNC machines
Skills & Requirements
* Comfortable lifting and handling heavy copper materials
* Basic understanding of workshop protocols and health & safety
* Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Ability to read and work from technical engineering drawings
