Rate of Pay : £17.55 - £22.03 per hour Summary: North Yorkshire Council is seeking a skilled and motivated Intelligence Analyst to support its mission of protecting consumers from online harm.
The role involves researching, analysing, and developing intelligence on counterfeit goods, illicit tobacco, online fraud, and other harmful activities. Working as part of the Disruptions Team, you will play a crucial role in investigating harmful websites and online platforms, creating intelligence products, and supporting enforcement actions. The post also involves close collaboration with national trading standards teams and external enforcement partners, including the Police and HMRC.
Responsibilities: Conduct online and open-source research to identify harmful websites, online platforms, and digital activity linked to consumer harm. Develop high-quality intelligence logs and intelligence products in line with national standards. Analyse information from multiple sources, identifying links, trends, and emerging threats.
