We are seeking a passionate DT Teacher to join a fantastic secondary school in Peterborough on a full-time, long-term basis until July. This is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive team of staff and hardworking students in a thriving school environment.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging Design & Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4.
* Create hands-on, practical learning experiences that inspire students.
* Ensure a strong focus on health and safety procedures in all practical lessons.
* Assess, mark, and provide feedback on student progress.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student learning and curriculum development.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively and foster a positive learning atmosphere.
Requirements:
* QTS is NOT essential, but relevant teaching experience is required.
* Strong subject knowledge in Design & Technology, including practical elements.
* Experience planning and marking students’ work.
* Ability to engage and motivate students in a creative and dynamic learning environment.
* Commitment to student development and academic success.
