Job Description
We are recruiting an Accounts Assistant for an acquisitive, forward-thinkingmanufacturing business based in Chesterfield. This is a newly created role due to business growth/demands.
This role will suit someone ready to take their first step into a finance career—and is either studying AAT or keen to begin.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, duties will include, but not be limited to:
* Updating and maintaining the sales and purchase ledgers.
* Credit control duties.
* Bank reconcilations for several bank accounts, including sterling, Euro and US Dollars.
* Main point of contact between finance and the commercial team.
* Daily calls with the Sales Team for finance-related information.
* Other ad hoc duties as required.
The person:
* The successful candidate will have excellent academics, including Maths and English.
* Good IT skills are essential.
* A positive attitude driven by curiosity, resilience, and a willingness to learn is essential.
