Overview: Working exclusively with your client, an established and forward-thinking injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking to appoint a Head of Sales / Sales Director to drive continued growth of the business. Remit: This position will suit an experienced Sales Manager or Sales Director with demonstrable experience and track record within injection moulding or plastics manufacturing. The role will suit a senior technical sales professional with experience in driving profitable growth through effective customer account management and new client acquisition The successful Head of Sales candidate will focus on driving sustainable revenue growth for the business through a strong focus on new business development alongside maintaining and maximizing a designated portfolio of existing customer accounts Role: In the role of Head of Sales you will identify, qualify and convert new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking and industry engagement As Head of Sales you will be responsible for developing and executing a structured sales strategy focused on winning new customers within target market sectors Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to support short, medium and long-term business growth Lead complex high value sales discussions from initial enquiry utilizing technical expertise to build relationship with the customer Manage and grow a defined list of key existing accounts, ensuring high level of customer satisfaction, retention and account expansion Identify opportunities to increase account value through cross selling, upselling and long-term supply agreements Act as the senior point of contact for strategic customers, resolving issues and strengthening long-term partnerships Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions and customer meetings to enhance market presence and brand awareness Provide regular sales performance reporting to the Managing Director and board Set sales targets, forecasts and KPIs aligned with overall business objectives Ensure sales activity aligns with operational capacity and commercial priorities Experience Requirements: 15 years of B2B sales experience within injection moulding, tooling, plastics manufacturing or related engineering sector Demonstrable experience selling into highly regulated market sectors Experience in selling process capability, risk and quality Track record of turning inbound enquiries into structured opportunities Ability to operate autonomously and credibly at board and procurement level Demonstrable success in new business development, winning and growing high value accounts Strong commercial and negotiation skills with the ability to sell complex engineered solutions Ability to manage ling term customer relationships in a technical manufacturing setting Excellent communication and presentation skills Experience navigating multi stakeholder decision making Key Words: Sales Director, Head of Sales, Senior Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Manager, Commercial Director, Injection Moulding, Plastics, Plastics Manufacturing FOOTER Due to the sheer volume of applications we receive we will only contact successful applications that meet the requirements of our client job brief.
