JOB TITLE: Sales and Marketing Executive | Maternity cover
LOCATION: Clevedon
THE PACKAGE: £26,000 - £27,000 plus benefits

THE OPPORTUNITY:
* Identify and qualify prospective customers - ensuring alignment with the target audience.
* Generate new leads - by proactively engaging with potential customers through outbound cold calls, social media, email campaigns, and networking activities.
* Follow up on internal leads - by pursuing leads generated through other sales and marketing initiatives to uncover new sales opportunities.
* Leverage existing customer data - by identifying and re-engaging potential leads within the current customer database (e.g. lapsed accounts, cross-sell and upsell opportunities).
* Qualify and score leads - ensuring all leads meet predefined criteria before progressing them through the sales pipeline.
* Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers - facilitating a smooth handover of qualified leads for further development and conversion into active business opportunities.
* Coordinate initial appointments and meetings - arranging and scheduling introductory discussions as required.
THE SKILLS REQUIRED:
* Proven track record in lead generation, working towards and achieving KPI’s.
* Able to demonstrate an ability to grow and develop the customer base.
* Excellent external communication skills with an ability to nurture leads and develop relationships with potential customers.
* Confident presentation skills.
* Ability to report against key performance indicators and provide insightful commentary on outcomes.
* Ability to work under pressure and prioritise work.
* Strong commercial acumen, with an ability to think strategically and contribute ideas relating to sales, marketing and lead generation.
* Strong level of numeracy, totally comfortable using a PC for communication, planning, forecasting, and presenting.
* Excellent computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Experience using CRM systems to manage leads and contacts is desirable.
