Pay: £120 – £232.56 per day (dependent on experience)

Are you a dedicated KS1 teacher looking for a new opportunity this October? Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Prescot (L34) to recruit a Year 2 Teacher to join their team for the new half term.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and enthusiastic teacher to play a key role in a school that values respect, inclusion, and continuous growth, not only for its pupils but for its staff as well.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum, particularly tailored to Year 2 learning outcomes
* Track and assess pupil progress, identifying those in need of additional support or intervention
* Collaborate effectively with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), Teaching Assistants, and SENCO to support all learners
* Foster a positive, nurturing classroom environment that supports both academic and emotional development
The Ideal Candidate:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Has recent experience teaching in a KS1 classroom in a UK primary school, ideally with a focus on Year 2
* Confident in delivering key curriculum areas, including phonics, reading, writing, and maths
* Holds an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
* Demonstrates a calm, consistent approach to classroom management and behaviour
