We are currently looking to recruit a Skilled Joiner / Boatbuilder to join our growing team.
The role
You will be involved in high-quality joinery and interior fit-out work on bespoke sailing yachts. The role includes both bench joinery and installation on the boats.
You should:
- Have strong joinery skills and experience in boat joinery and fit-out
- Work methodically with excellent attention to detail
- Be able to work effectively as part of a close-knit team
- Take pride in producing high-quality craftsmanship
Typical work may include:
- Bench joinery, including bulkheads and furniture units
- Installation of bulkheads, panels, furniture, fittings, and linings
- Scribing and fitting units in timber and GRP, trimming and adjusting for a perfect fit
- Fitting deck hardware, portlights, and hatches
