Equans is looking for a HR Business Partner to join the team on a permanent basis covering the North of England. This is a full‑time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.
This is a regional role covering the North of England, and possibly the Midlands and Wales. The post holder can be based anywhere in the UK, however travel to these areas is required.
The role offers hybrid working with an expectation to be on site two days per week.
Are you an experienced HR Business Partner looking for your next challenge? This is a fast‑paced role where no day is the same. We are looking for a candidate with previous HR BP experience within a large corporate environment, previous experience of complex grievance and disciplinary. An analytical thinker with strong influencing skills at all levels, the ability to build strong relationships with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
The HR Business Partner will have one direct report and be responsible for the provision of comprehensive and professional business‑partner support for people matters, to a national multisite contract of circa 1,700 colleagues. This role will cover multiple operational regions as well as contract support functions up to 850 colleagues. Supporting the regional management teams to deliver improvements in culture, change management, compliance and cost control to drive improved engagement and financial results.
The business‑partner role will also lead and develop HR Advisors, whilst working in collaboration with the wider HR Team.
As a member of the Sustainable FM HR Team, the post holder will work closely with key stakeholders and will deliver the HR people plans, ensuring the business needs are understood and are delivered through the people plans which are in alignment with organisational strategic priorities at a contract, regional and company level.
