Responsibilities
The Urology Registrar will provide high‑quality clinical care to patients with urological conditions, working as part of a consultant‑led multidisciplinary team. The post holder will contribute to the delivery of safe, effective and timely care across inpatient, outpatient, elective and emergency urology services. The role includes providing high‑quality, patient‑centred care for a wide range of urological conditions under consultant supervision, assessing, investigating, diagnosing and managing elective and emergency urology patients in inpatient, outpatient and emergency settings, conducting daily ward rounds, reviewing acutely unwell patients and ensuring timely escalation of concerns, participating in outpatient clinics with assessment, follow‑up and management planning, and assisting with and performing urological procedures and theatre activity appropriate to level of competence.
